About

I am an industrial designer and product developer based in Los Angeles, dedicated to transforming ideas into market ready products. I oversee every stage of the design process, from initial concept to mass production, so outcomes are thoughtful, manufacturable, and on brand.

My approach emphasizes close collaboration with engineers, marketers, product managers, cost analysts, and external vendors. This allows me to deliver innovative solutions for a wide range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to privately owned startups.

Originally from South Korea, I grew up in the New York metro area and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts and a Master of Industrial Design from Pratt Institute. My design philosophy centers on understanding real-world problems and creating meaningful connections between users and products. By observing, researching, and analyzing how people of all ages interact with everyday items, I work to reduce pain points and uncover new insights.

I am a creative and proactive problem solver who values teamwork and clear communication. I combine professionalism with a user-centered approach, and I navigate challenges with flexibility, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset.

More About Me

From a young age, I immersed myself in painting. Mixing color and exploring texture sparked a lasting fascination with how color, material, and finish shape experience. That foundation taught me observation, experimentation, and patience. I received a full scholarship to the School of Visual Arts for all four years of my undergraduate studies.

As I moved into industrial design, I found joy in applying an artistic lens to everyday products. CMF blends aesthetics with function and elevates use through tactile, visual, and material choices. My practice focuses on how tactility influences look, feel, and engagement.

When I am not working, I love to travel and explore new cultures, which often inspires fresh ideas. I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen and sharing meals with friends and family, and I look for moments where creativity brings joy to daily life.
